Fate has yet brought Hunter the Great back into my life once - TopicsExpress

Fate has yet brought Hunter the Great back into my life once again. When we first met he was an abandoned puppy, cute & smart. He was starving to death, full of worms, & filthy dirty. I decided to bring him home & make him a part of my family. He was an absolute joy & very obedient. Going through his puppy phases was trying at times but he always made up for it. I always bragged about him & joked about how he was an asshole. We got separated about 10 months ago. The relationship I was in had come to an end. There was a little girl there that adored that dog. The only respectable thing to do was leave him behind as to not break her heart. When I left that terrible situation I had let it be known that if it didnt work out with the dog to let me know & I would be happy to have him back. Last night my best friend Michael NolinWinkler called me, I could tell something was definitely off in his voice. He then told me there is a picture of your dog at the pound. So I looked & sure enough there was Hunter. I ran in there as soon as they opened today, Hunter looked the same way as I had found him 2 years ago, filthy dirty & skin n bones. He had been in there for just over two months, he wouldnt eat due to the stress of the environment. I told everyone there his & my story, needless to say they were pissed. They pulled his paper work & told me the reasoning for being abandoned was because the Exs boyfriend of less than 10 months has asthma. So let me get this straight... You move in a new guy with you daughter & her dog. Hes allergic so you take your daughters dog away from her, after a short fling with him. Then out of spite & shame you do not tell the dog pound, a mutual friend, or just text about the situation with the dog knowing he would be safe, healthy, happy, & loved. For SHAME!!! Well obviously Hunter & I are meant to be together. When we got alone at the pound he acted as if I was familiar but didnt know me. We played for five or ten minutes, when I decided test his memory. I gave him his command for his kennel, when I delivered it he was facing away, his ears perked up, he spun around with a crazed look in his eyes & leaped straight into my lap, he went bananas, feverishly licking my face & burying his head into my neck. Our bond as a pack had not left him. Im happy to say he is home & will never leave my side again. And shame on the person that put him through this, he has no control over his environment, he did not deserve to be abandoned a second time, this is a perfect example of the type of person you are & why I would never marry or produce children with you. I feel so sorry for the innocent children that are ever a part of your life.
