Father, we come today give You the glory, honor and praise for this day and the blessings of life. We moan, complain, were not happy with the situations were in but we are blessed. Storms come and shake our foundations, our faith wavers, then we realize that we are standing on Christ the Solid Rock and all other ground is sinking sand. Help us realize that we cant make it without You. We were all sinners saved by grace by our standards we might have been decent people but by Your standards we were lost and undone without You or Your Son til He reached down His hand for us. Father we come to talk about our walk, our talk and our witness and the question has to be, are You satisfied with us? We confess that we have failed, gone astray, nibbled our way away from the fold until You came and found us. We are the sheep of Your fold and You are our great Shepherd. Anoint our heads with oil while our cups run over. We may walk through the valley of the shadow of death but we will survive because You are with us, Your rod and staff they comfort us. We can expect nothing but goodness and mercy to follow us. Lead us into green pastures were we may feed on Your Word. Feed us in the presence of our enemies. Protect us from the parasites and pitfalls of life. Forgive our sins as we forgive others. Save the lost among us. Keep our warriors safe. Help us protect and train our little ones. In Jesus name. Amen.
