Fathers Day; it means so much to so many people, and it certainly means something to me. My dad came into my life when I was just a wee lad, 4 years old and ignorant of how much a young child can complicate a new relationship; but here we are 17 years later, and I cant imagine my mom marrying a greater man. This song has always been dedicated to him. I remember the SACRIFICE hes shown throughout the years, time and time again. Working days and going to school at nights to get his CPA certification; putting up with less than ideal working conditions in order to provide for us; I remember weeks when there would be two or three days that would pass where I wouldnt see him at all, because he would be gone to work before I ever woke up for school and I would be asleep by the time he ever made it home. My father is a great man and above all, an excellent dad; and he never had to be. Thank you so much, Dad, for everything youve done for us. Happy Fathers Day
