Upon these pages are an assortments of views Showing all the details, of how to fill his shoes All the sections of his life, in actual scale Of things he accomplished, and never failed First the project, that was at the top of his list One he had to complete, from the very first kiss The elevation is huge, because it was the passion of his life It’s when he said “I DO”, and married his beautiful wife Second on the list, this was quick to come But don’t let that fool you, it was straight and plumb Like a good specie of wood, maybe pine or spruce Was the creation of his first child, that he proudly named Bruce With his family in place, the next project needed no glue It was a career in woodworking, exactly what he wanted to do Work, Fun, and Entertainment, present from beginning to end With a fine selection of material, which consisted of all his friends The next project was started without a flinch And was truly perfect, right down to the inch With the help of his wife, they crafted something quite handy The birth of his second boy, with the honorable name of Randy The next project was schedule with a certain specs in mind Something he could dress up, something sweet and kind A slight kickback that he managed to save with glory A girl would have to wait, because it was the time for Cory There were a few projects, that he never wanted to finish He didnt stopped working on them, or let them diminish He traveled the world, looking for that perfect log It’s because he never wanted to finish, the life with his dog Next was more precious than burl, or even bird’s eye maple It was something he couldnt cost code, cut down, or staple A project that won him something higher than a Grammy And that was his one and only, little girl named Tammy Last but not least, a project pulled from the top of the rack It was a family complete, one be would never give back With a lot of overtime, allocated to finish this job Came the icing on his cake, his last son Rob Red-lined in ink, was a note on the side “Dan you did a great job, and did it with stride Your greatest projects in life, wasnt made out of wood It was your dear family, in which you proudly stood” Something was overlooked, by even Dan himself His was not the only drawings, laid upon the shelf There were more drawings than you could hold in your hands Because it is the Masters house and these are HIS plans ~ Cory Rafiner
