February 1972 Todd released his 3rd solo album, a double album with the super megahit Hello Its Me. This tune had significance to me as I had just started the transition of smoking the fine herb,cannabis. @ Tufts University, I bargained with two sophomore roomates down the hall from me in Hodgdon Hall. A German guy Rolf Grun & his Jewish roomie Gideon Strict. They offered their services for me to play over & over Hello Its Me on their vinyl, as long as I bought,paid & rolled joints filling up their large bowl. When the bowl was empty I left. This song helps me remember the beginning descent into addiction & hades. The tune reminds me of which lady (my girlfriend in 73) that I was thinking about 41 years ago. Also, today I know which lady I think about at the close of 2014. Lets all take a listen to Todds masterpiece!
