February 28, 2014 Dear Organization and Ministry Leaders: As you know, we will be doing the 40 hours of Adoration each week beginning with the next Holy Hour on Thursday, March 6th at 7:00 p.m.. It is important that we sign up as many people as possible to cover those 40 hours, and the most critical time is on Thursday nights. Each week the 40 hours will begin on Thursday night at the Holy Hour and end at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. There will be times that the silent Adoration will be interrupted necessarily because of certain services but, except for the Mass on Fridays, we will have Exposition of the Holy Eucharist during the services. These times are outlined below: Thursdays: Holy Hour 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Fridays: Mass 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Devine Mercy Chaplet - English 3:00 - 3:30 p.m. Devine Mercy Chaplet - Spanish 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. Spanish Prayer Group 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. The 40 hours of Adoration will be suspended during the Triduum at Easter week but will resume the next week. We ask that you contact the members of your organizations/ministries and greatly encourage them to sign up to spend an hour with our Lord. We can sign up as an adorer to spend time with the Lord in his presence exposed to provide that close, intimate relationship with Him, our Father, our Friend. We can read the bible, prayers and stories of faith, and we can pray the rosary, or we can just sit and keep Him company. Thank you for your help in getting the word out to our parishioners. Please pray that we all will respond to this invitation.to deepen our relationship with God by bringing the Eucharist to our consciousness beyond the Mass thereby making It the center of our lives. Let us be generous with our time in going to meet Jesus and ready to make reparation for the great evils of the world. Let your adoration never cease. (Pope John Paul II, Dominicai Cenae) Behold I will be with you always even to the end of the world, because I have loved you with an everlasting love, and constant is My affection for you. (Mt 28:20; Jer 31:3) Pax Christi Padre Alejandro
