† Feeding Frenzy † He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalms 147:3 ESV When sharks sense something wounded nearby they often go into a feeding frenzy where they attack the wounded, even if it is another shark. They get so caught up in this that they may even turn and attack each other. Church life can be messy. We are all imperfect people trying to represent a perfect God and when we fail, people get wounded. Jesus reached out to the wounded and told us parables like the good Samaritan who stopped and helped the wounded man. We are to help the wounded among us, not turn and destroy their lives, dash their hopes and drive them away. Today if you know someone that has been wounded, reach out to them. You might just be the only friend that they have on earth at a time when everyone else has turned their back on them. If you are one of the wounded, hang on to God and understand that God still loves you, but His followers often fail to show it. Jesus loves you so much that He traded His life for yours! :)
