Feel The Groove Constantine Gras is the V&A Museum Community - TopicsExpress

Feel The Groove Constantine Gras is the V&A Museum Community Artist in Residence. His studio is a 1960s council flat in North Kensington. This will be redevelopment in early 2015 as More West consisting of 112 Peabody managed flats. During his residency, Constantine is exploring themes connected with housing, regeneration and architecture. For Kensington and Hammersmith Open Studio Day, on the 11th and 12th October, he curated a community event called Home Sweet Home. This consisted of a film programme of 60s and 70s adverts and educational shorts. Centre stage in the living room was a vinyl record player and an assortment of vinyl from the Beatles to Saturday Night Fever. This event was staged to provide a framework for thinking about 1960s social housing and contemporary regeneration. _______ FOLLOW LIPSapp Hits56 Radio _______ FB: r-js/1uOEA6Y / TW: r-js/1us3SdS / Listen to LIPSapp Hits56 Radio r-js/1imT49y #thewho #beatles #elvis #jimihendrix #dylan
