You will know what to inquire about and look for when you are at the makeup counter, drug store, or nail salon. Nail polish 101 3 FREE: NAIL polish sans Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, and Formaldehyde 5 FREE: nail polish sans Dibutyl, Phthalate, Toluene, Formaldehyde, formaldehyde Resin, and Camphor Heres what those chemicals do: Dibutyl Phthalate is an endocrine disruptor, toxic to the reproduction system, is linked to obesity... to name a few Toluene is toxic to the nervous system, impairs breathing, causes nausea and is linked to malignant lymphoma Formaldehyde is a big time major carcinogen. Formaldehyde resin is derivative of formaldehyde, not as toxic but is an allergen. Camphor can cause liver damage,linked to seizures when ingested.. Jamberry Nails has come out with a new Laqured Up line and stated it was 5 free. So I looked up what they were free of. Boy was I surprised as to what I learned. I will be ordering tomorrow!
