Feeling a bit deflated today due to someone asking me a price of an item they wanted me to make, I told them how much it would be to be shot down and say that my pricing is disgusting and they could get it done cheaper elsewhere :(. Made me feel totally crap about even venturing on with this and made it just so I wanted to make things for family and friends. Some people do not realise that my prices are on the cost of materials and my time in making things, I take pride in what I make and use decent wool, ribbon and any other material that are used in my projects and some things take longer to make then other things. So if I charge £7 for a certain item that takes me 3 hours to make I will be working for just over £2 an hour dont think many people would do that. So now I am in 2 minds what to do.
