Feeling blessed and anxious today…Tomorrow, I will stand before the board of trustees for review to upgrade my trustee status from level ‘C’ to ‘A’, the highest level an inmate can receive. From day one of my arrival here, I can say that I have had unprecedented favor from God in every situation. During the past 7 years, I have been afforded the opportunity to redeem myself in many ways and have not had so much as one disciplinary write-up (through God sustaining and walking with me), which opened doors for me to be a part of various programs. I know that it is because of my faithfulness to Him that I have been so highly favored here, and I am praying and believing for nothing less than this same favor tomorrow. I realize that not everyone will feel as if redemption is either possible, or deserved, in a situation like mine; but for those who do, I ask that you would keep me in prayer as I go before this board tomorrow, that God’s ultimate will be done in spite of how some in society may view, or feel about, someone like me. God may condemn us because of disobedience or unrighteousness, but He can also place us back into high places once we fully submit to His will.
