Feeling productive and creative. Just finished designing three presentations for two conferences I was invited to present at in May and June. May is Reaching Within: a professionals journey into the world of ethics and value, (a new angle and redesign of an old fave) and June brings forth two newbies, ...but I can do something--facts and strategies regarding the epidemic of abuse against people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and Beyond Response: Steps to Move MDTs into Prevention. The best part is that I get to speak as myself, an individual activist, not as part of the system. Oooh, heres to truth and humor being used as tools for mobilization! Looking forward to them both.
