Fellas; this is to alert you and promote ‘The South Asianist‘, a peer-review, open access, interdisciplinary journal intended to spur critical debate on social, environmental, linguistic, religious, political and economic issues in South Asia. Whilst the journal is expanding rapidly and offers a great range of formats for academic work, exploratory essays, photo essays and video vignettes, Sri Lanka has unfortunately been somewhat under represented. Senior Editor want to see more scholarship on Sri Lanka coming from Sri Lanka in the journal. As well as journal-length scholarly articles, The South Asianist welcomes book reviews, film reviews, blog entries and interviews. Particularly if you are an early career scholar or researcher looking to get your work into an international peer-review journal then The South Asianist may well be for you.
