Fellas, try to understand this. You know how you compliment a girl and call her beautiful and she denies the compliment? You probably think its because she wants you to keep complimenting her right? You probably think its because she already knows she looks good and shes thirsty for more compliments right? You probably think its because shes stuck up because she knows shes attractive and doesnt have to be told right? Well, it isnt always like that. Sometimes, that girl didnt accept your compliment because she genuinely doesnt feel like she deserves it. She doesnt believe she looks beautiful because how can she when she doesnt feel beautiful? Sometimes, that girl didnt accept your compliment because her self-esteem is actually low, too low for a compliment to pick it up. Guys have made her feel ugly, made her feel like theres so many things thats wrong with her, made her feel like she isnt good enough, and those feelings kind of stuck with her. Sometimes, that girl didnt accept your compliment because she simply doesnt feel comfortable in her own skin, especially when she looks at other girls who have the features and the body she wishes she had. So dont be offended when a girl shrugs off a compliment. Understand that there is a reason behind it and that simply is because of what shes been through.
