Fellow American believers, you see what is happening to christians in the middle east, and as much as I hate to say it, persecution WILL come to America unless we repent as a nation...but I have a question to those of you who center your lives around the words of T.V. preachers, is the gospel going to be enough once you found out that all those preachers who so charismatically promised you your best life now, lied to you and you find yourself staring into the barrel of a gun. Then you hear the man on the other side of that gun telling you to renounce your faith in Jesus the Messiah? Is Christ and Him crucified going to be enough foundation for you to stand in boldness and tell that man that you would rather die then to deny the One who stood in your place on that cross as He died for your sins? Would the spilling of His atoning blood so move you that you would be willing to spill out your own for His names sake? Because If I were to be honest, I may very well be just like Peter and say all day long that Im willing to die with Christ...but as soon as that death stares me in the face, have all that boldness just flee. And it breaks my heart, Church. It breaks my heart that we lack the boldness and the power it takes to face persecution...its because we have all been blinded by false doctrine, because we started caring about our own desires and dont even care a thing about what God demands of us as believers. Its heart breaking that the underground church in China knows the American church as the great whore of America. Its because we have forgotten the infinite value of Christ and what Hes done for us! May this video serve to you as a great reminder.
