Felony Drug Arrest On 08/01/2014 hours at 8:30 a.m., Ofc. Anger was conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 41. Ofc. Anger observed a seat belt violation and conducted a traffic stop on a pick up truck that was traveling north bound through the City of Dunnellon. Upon making contact, the officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle a black trash bag containing a brick of marijuana which weighed approximately 2500 grams was located, along with digital scales and plastic bags. A separate freezer bag which contained 326 grams of marijuana ready for sale was also located inside the black trash bag. Benjamin Tyler, and Wilbert Gaines were arrested and charged with; Sell/Manufacture/or Deliver Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis More Than 20 Grams, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both subjects were transported to the Marion County Jail.
