Some things rattling around in my head I would like to see someday: A Nat Geo Series- In the Pit (or some branding name that works) - Sportfishing Show a la Wicked Tuna following say 6 top boats on their fishing campaigns from Florida, Isla, DR, St Thomas, East Coast USA, Bermuda, New England. Grundens in some new colors - Camo maybe.? A sportfish style boat - single engine - designed for fuel economy and speed for any long range canyon fishing. A hybrid cross between a DownEast and a Carolina boat with basic living and sleeping amenities with a $$ tag that allows us to have nice things. A Florida Based Big Game Fishing Exposition - similar to ICAST but open to the public, showcasing all of the industrys top brands, boats, manufacturers and builders from around the Globe. NOT A BOAT SHOW. A modified J Hook hybrid that works for all parties concerned that will allow Dead Bait and Dead Bait / Lure combinations to troll same in a traditional manner for tournaments. For trolling purposes ONLY. A repeal of the Excise Tax laws for USA tackle manufacturing. Imported tackle would carry the tax burden, hopefully spurring growth of the industry again in the USA. A true Tuna Fishing tournament series on the east coast of the USA. Allows the boats that cant compete in the high $$ billfish tournaments to have their own tournaments. These are thoughts and ideas......not complete, not in stone, just thoughts.
