Felt like this needed to be shared today...Not only for the the ones we have lost,or will loose,but also for the ones who made it home and struggle everyday with survivors guilt,or PTWS. All of our men and women should be given a hug today. It breaks my heart to see Veterans on the side of the road begging,when they are the reason we are all alive,and safe,and get to be with our families everyday when many of them have lost their families because they cant cope. Stop today if you see a vet..Pray with him or her,buy them a hot meal. Let them know that you love them,and thank them for their sacrifice. I read the other day that the only time we should be looking down on someone,is when we are helping them up....Thats a strong phrase. Although we should be practicing that every day of our life,especially today,lets try and live it. Thank you to all who have served,so that my children and grandchildren can live in peace.
