What I take away: Rape culture is all about society blaming the victims. Society is starting to blame the rapist more often now, but the key is to understand that society is still breeding rapists (and other bad people). Many people are aware that Boys will be boys hurts women, but it hurts men too. It is an excuse for bad behavior, and it is often a damning sentence. There is little love for those who make bad, bad mistakes, but a vast majority of the time they need real help not simply punishment. Jail is becoming a place we put our mistakes because we give up, when the whole point is supposed to be reformation. Only those on death row are supposed to die in jail.
