The monarchs emerged from their chrysalises around noon today.They were in for fifteen days. The first photo with dark chrysalises was taken at 9:00 a.m. this morning. If you look closely you can see their wings inside the chrysalis. On the second and third photos they are drying their wings. They now must fly to central Mexico about 3,000 miles away. Go Monarchs! I posted a pic on September 7 of them going into their chrysalises. Isnt nature amazing?
