Festival Feature: Victoria Kennefick is our second winner of the Fool for Poetry Chapbook Competition. She will be joining Virginia in showcasing her chapbook, White Whale, at the Cork City Library, Wednesday, February 11th, at 14:30. Victoria is a native of Shanagarry, Cork, though shes well versed in the ways of Dublin, Belfast and more. She received a Fullbright Scholarship and went on to complete a PhD in Literaure. To those who say theres no point studying writing, Victoria prooves the exception. Her writing has gone from strength to strength, and weve no doubt this chapbook is merely the first step down the long road of success. For a sneak peak at some of her poetry, check out PoetHead.
