I have debated whether or not to put anything about this on - TopicsExpress

I have debated whether or not to put anything about this on Facebook as its quite personal, but there are still lots of people asking about me, so here is the explanation of why I have been MIA. As people may or may not know, the past 12 months have been emotionally challenging, to say the least for the Little Rhinos family. Mum and Dad have been keeping the shop doors open, as I have been unable to work. On December 14th 2012, our baby girl Emma was born quietly still into this world at 28 weeks. Her little heart stopped beating during labour as she had a congenital heart condition and the stress of it was too much for her. (I had HELLP Syndrome - which I would encourage all expectant mothers to be aware of as it is a little known serious pregnancy complication). I would like to take this opportunity to thank our supportive and caring customers. There are many of you that found yourselves in a position of comforting Mum and Dad on their not so good days. Mum and Dad also passed on your messages. Please feel free to share this post with friends, as I feel its important to break the silence surrounding pregnancy and infant loss. it happens to more families than we think. Its often a taboo subject, but parents need to talk. Emma has made the biggest impact on our lives, and I think about her every day, its only natural that I would want to talk about her. So, as I find myself still unable to come into the shop (maybe if I was an accountant it would be different), I have decided that I can help out by being active on our Facebook page and giving our website a MUCH NEEDED revamp. I look forward to reading your comments and suggestions and please remember to interact with our page so you see us more often in your news feeds. Thanks for taking the time to read this post, Kate xxx Its with hesitation that I am clicking post as I dont want to be an over sharer!
