Fifteen years ago today the Lord blessed me with Drew Black. A few days later he was diagnosed with a crippling illness. I did not understand why God would allow such a thing to happen. Today I look back and understand why God made Drews path so much different from most of us. I can not count the smiles and hugs and love he shows to people everyday of his life. I think he was made this way to simply spread love in this troubled world. What a gift not just to me but to many of the people he meets along his journey everyday. So just like to say Happy Birthday to my son Drew The Dog Black love you one of my two gifts from God. Thank you Lord for each day of their lives .
