Fight for your rights- Consumer Rights must be pressed. Find below a recent Consumer Complaint against the service from Government found defective. Please do not spare the guilty and pounce upon them BEFORE THE CONSUMER REDRESSAL FORUM, AMRITSAR C.C. No. ____________ Of 2013 Parbodh Chander Bali, S/o. Gian Chand Bali, R/o. 16, Shiv Nagar, Batala Road, or 121-A, Krishna Square-II, Amritsar Complainant Versus 1) The Tehsildar Amritsar-II, Amritsar Courts Complex, Court Road, Amritsar. 2) The Administrator, Suvidha Centre, District Courts Complex, Court Road, Amritsar. 3) The District Magistrate, Amritsar Courts Complex, Court Road, Amritsar Opposite Parties Complaint U/s 12 of C. P. Act Most Respectfully Showeth: 1) That complainant sought a service from Opposite Party No.1 for “Report of Demarcation of Land” on date 18/02/2013 and paid a service charges of Rs.112/- and the OP No.2 issued a receipt for that as Token No 18893/2013.(Ann-C1) 2) That the said service “Report of Demarcation of Land” is a Notified Service and OP No.2 has been authorised by OP No.1 for collecting the service charges and to deliver the services on or before a fixed date. 3) That it is pertinent that the OP No.2 collecting the service charges and is issuing the receipts against said service but the receipts so issued by OP No.2 bear the Name of OP No.3 on whose behalf the OP No.2 is collecting the service charges for providing service from OP No.1 designated officer. 4) That OP No.2 gave a promise of delivery of service i.e. “Report of Demarcation of Land” on or before 20/03/2013 and printed this promise in writing on the said receipt issued on 18/02/2013. 5) That when on 20/03/3013, the complainant reached the office of OP No.2 for collection of Report of Demarcation, the OP No.2 refused to deliver the service and rather directed the complainant that the same would be provided by the OP No.1. On approach to the OP No.1, he also refused to deliver the service and on much insistence and inconvenience, he provided the uncertified photocopy of the service/report on 16/04/2013 which is totally illegible, crudely written and not typed or computer printed.(ANN-C2) 6) That till date of filing this complaint, the OP No.1 or OP No.2 have not provided the service i.e. The original Report of Demarcation of Land as such they are continue defaulter which has caused a great pain and injury alongwith harassment & financial loss on account of uncertainty of legal rights to property and loss of reputation alongwith other detriments suffered by the Complainant by this non providing and defective service of Opposite Parties and these losses and detriments are continuing one and going on. 7) That the Opposite Parties are having their offices at Amritsar, cause of action also accrued at Amritsar, therefore this forum has jurisdiction to try the present complaint 8) That the desired postal order is attached herewith. PRAYER: It is respectfully prayed that directions be issued to Opposite Parties to provide service to the complainant as sought in the application immediately And/or Opposite Parties to pay compensation to the tune of Rs.50.000/- for mental agony and harassment suffered alongwith Rs.5000/- as cost of this complaint.
