Figure it out, republicans, you dont need to be more conservative. - TopicsExpress

Figure it out, republicans, you dont need to be more conservative. This myth is costing you one election after another. The American people are tired of the erosion of workers rights, and yes, that includes people like me, who once voted republican and were never union members. The American people want to work at least 40 hours a week, but we dont want to be expected to work over 40 hours a week except in unusual circumstances, or unless we are high level executives who are paid lucrative salaries that make it worth our time. 40 hours a week is a full time job. Any more than that is too many work hours. The American workers are tired of corporate welfare, and tax breaks and loop holes that only apply to wealthy corporations and individuals. We are tired of our tax dollars being used to supplement the full time employees of big businesses that do not want to pay their workers a living wage. We are tired of these same businesses contributing to candidates who want to cut social safety nets, therefore reducing those who have to work for a living to desperate slaves who will accept any amount of employer abuse just to eat. Americans are tired of increased healthcare premiums annually that cover less and less of our healthcare costs, and for profit insurance CEOs who earn in the millions annually, profit for refusing to cover our healthcare needs. We want even more affordable healthcare than AHA can offer. We dont trust for profit healthcare, and want them out of our healthcare completely. We want a single payer option republicans cant choose not to expand. When republicans stop supporting Social Security, Medicare and food stamp cuts, and stop supporting tax breaks for the rich and corporate welfare, they might stop losing elections. American workers are not ignorant. We experience ourselves becoming closer and closer to slavery to corporations and the rich with fear and loathing, and we are not voting for more of the same.
