Filipina Maid Escapes With Sponsor’s Diamonds, Jewelry A Filipina housemaid stole her Kuwaiti sponsor’s jewelry and diamonds worth about KD 10,000 and ran away. According to security sources, when the Kuwaiti sponsor went to her house in Jabriya area, she saw some of her personal items thrown around in her bedroom. She checked the drawer of her dresser where she kept her jewelry and was shocked to discover that her jewelry and diamonds were missing. She rushed to her Filipina housemaid’s room and discovered that the room was empty of the latter’s belongings. She immediately notified the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior after which securitymen and officers from General Department for Criminal Evidences rushed to the location. They examined the house, lifted fingerprints and collected other evidences. They circulated the description of the suspect to all patrol teams and border securitymen. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to find the suspect. Meanwhile, an unknown individual broke into an office room of a company in Nugra area and stole KD 130. Securitymen are carrying out investigations to find and arrest the suspect. In addition, an unknown individual broke the window of a Kuwaiti citizen’s vehicle and stole his wallet, which contained his Civil ID, bank cards and KD 3 cash. The Kuwaiti citizen filed a case at Jabriya Police Station. Securitymen are carrying out investigations to identify and arrest the suspect.
