Filming for upcoming period film THE HYMN starring Ryoo Seung-Ryong, Bae Suzy, Kim Nam-Gil & Song Sae-Byeok finished January 2, 2015 in Namwon, Jeollabuk Province, South Korea. Filming took about 4 months to finish and other shooting locations include Andong, Hapcheon, Buan, Suncheon, Buyeo, Suwon, Yongin, Namyangju and Seoul. Story for THE HYMN is set in the Joseon era and follows a musical teacher (Ryoo Seung-Ryong) as he discovers a young female pupil (Bae Suzy) with a gift for pansori (traditonal Korean music storytelling). Eventually, the father (Kim Nam-Gil) of the King sees the woman and wants to make her his concubine and the musical teacher realizes he also loves her.
