Fuel and Consumption Fuel Used: 2601 liters Average miles per liter: 11 Cost: £2020 Average cost per liter: £1.29 Servicing Services: 5 Air filters: 6 Oil changes: 5 Spark Plugs: 3 set Tyres: Metzler Karoo 3s: 5500 miles, Full Bore: 8353 miles, Heidenaus: 11000 miles. present Heidenuas: 3740 so far. Rear brake pads replaced at 17815 miles and again at 34679 miles Front replaced at 20000 miles approx Chain and sprocket replaced at 23340 miles Chain replaced again at 29207 due to being damaged by having no rear shock damping. All servicing less for one done myself. Mechanical issues Bike cutting out at low revs, not idling properly, coughing and spluttering after lots of desert and gravel/dirt track riding, fuel Injectors cleaned problem solved. Side stand cut out switch seized, WD 40 easy fix. Rear shock blew in Texas, no spares anywhere so rode to California and had it refurbished and rebuilt. Overheating problem in New Mexico, Radiator cap perished due to extreme heat and allowed coolant to evaporate. fixed by Triumph USA under warranty. Front left Fork seal blew in Alaska Breakages/Repairs Chain guard broke and fell off, in Patagonia due to excessive side wind. Main frame down tubes fractured below where it meets the rear sub frame? Spot welded in Colombia now waiting on reply from Triumph UK regarding replacement or repair? Punctures: 1 front Left wing mirror replaced. Left front indicator replaced. Left pannier hammered back into shape. Front wheel rim dented on left side after hitting massive pothole, rim hammered back into shape. Crash bars pulled back out from engine casing. Fog lamp mounting point on main light cluster repaired with steel epoxy. Two top yoke bolts replaced after they went missing, fell out somewhere? Chain guide broke repaired with cable ties. Right hand plastic tank gaurd/cowling shattered after fall due to extreme cold weather. Front mudguard mounting points broken due to falling of stand when getting new tyres fitted. Both fog lamps lenses cracked due to falls. Crashes and falls On road: 1, around 60mph both me and bike escaped with no damage after sliding on left side to a halt on gravel verge. On gravel: 1, bike; twisted bars, smashed wing mirror, broken indicator, engine crash bars pushed right into engine and left pannier bent and bashed. Me broken ribs and bruised arm and leg left side. Slow speed falls in the sand: 3 no damages. Bike blown over by wind in Patagonia: 4 no damages. Dropped bike: 3 Falls in snow and ice: 4 For Sale one careful owner. Only joking its not for sale!
