Final day of my challenge by Davie Halley (and with apologies for the lateness of this one) I couldnt, and I doubt if you wouldve expected me, too not have a bit of Rod as a part of this. From the Faces and heavily featuring Ian Mac Mclagan who sadly passed away on Wednesday. As good a rock song as rock songs get. So thats it, 5th of 5. Thanks to Davie Halley, drummer with (among others) Glasgow band, lil Charlie and the Easy Riders, who also include Chris Glen in their line-up. It definitely gave me something to do in my head while traveling big yin. Im going to challenge a couple of mates from the not quite yet globally famous, but its only a matter of time according to their publicist, and another Glasgow band Running on Empty They are drummer, John Macky Mcintosh and lead guitarist, Harry Young. I choose them because although they both play in the same band, I reckon that their choice of songs will be very, very different and I look forward to hearing them.
