Finally. Ive been waiting years for her to create something like this. For once, I can actually say Im impressed. Most people who know of my dislike of Taylor Swift will know its been quite passionate. Why? Because its been ridiculously centered on relationships and bubblegum pop only! Its not that I dont believe Swift is talented, its that before I honestly dont believe she deserved all the media attention, awards, and popularity before her prime. She was naive, not good enough for awards, and ridiculously overrated. With this, however, I believe she has truly reached into the artist within herself to make an upbeat tune without using too much bubbly pop style, and actually made something without mentioning a boy shes obsessed or broken up with. In fact, shes making a statement and standing up for herself in the midst of criticism. This is a very well done song, and Im entirely impressed, and now she most certainly has blossomed as an artist and deserves an award for this number. Hats off, Swift. Youve earned my respect with this one :)
