Finally found time to go to the Forest Reserve in Kepong for my - TopicsExpress

Finally found time to go to the Forest Reserve in Kepong for my jungle trekking/jogging. Have not been there since beginning of this year. At the entrance, I was not allowed to drive in, cos I have yet to renew my season pass. I told the guard that I will do it tomorrow, as I couldnt do it earlier as the office was closed. He told me to park outside and pay rm1 per person and then walk in. Too much for me to take in this nonsense from a guard, moreover, the forest reserve is a national park, belonging to Malaysians. All of us joggers were paying rm100 per car stickers, per year. Just imagine the amount of monies collected. So I turn back and went to the botany, which is man-made, an extension of the forest reserve. The guard let me in, even though my car sticker was last year. I told him I will renew it tomorrow, when the office is open. Pleasant local guard, with a nice smile and good attitude. After todays incident, I have decided to save my rm100 per car sticker. I have been paying for almost 10years to date. Think I will go to the botany instead, as the monies collected is and has been put to good use.
