Finally got around to finishing up the video of the final Schneider marching band show. In 1991, we put together a show themed around the music of George Gershwin. The music of Strike up the Band had been played in 1985, but the drill was mostly new. I was trying to pay homage to the kaleidoscopic drills from the 70s. In the American in Paris section you can see a little picture show with my attempt to represent a couple of Paris landmarks. In the closer, you cant see it from the video, but the push line stretched from 5 to 5. This performance was rather early in the year at MoWest, I believe they performed even better later in the year at Omaha (I have video that shows mounds of snow on the sides of the field -- anyone remember that?) but the video quality is not as good.
