Finally got around to treating my Carhartt jacket. The stuff I used takes more heat than a hairdryer can provide to melt the wax into the cotton and the color came back that had faded somewhat with weather. I wish I had treated it when it was new and I cant wait to try it out with some rain now. It looks nicer than before I weather treated it for sure. I used an extra thick wax ring which ended up making ⅔ cup of wax and added a tablespoon of citronella oil in addition to the turpentine and boiled linseed oil of course ⅓ each.
