Finally got to see American Sniper last night. Such a powerful film. The writers did a great job. Eastwood did a great job. War was not glorified. But the horror of it was depicted. I think this should be required viewing in every high school US History class. In its first week its out grossed every other Oscar nominated film by 3 to one. Probably wont win because Hollywood doesnt believe in America anymore and thats ok. I believe in Chris Kyle. A humble man who did his job. Did it well. And suffered the rest of his very short life because of it. Evil exists. Plenty of it. Men and women currently are in harms way standing between us and that evil.
