Finally home from Trace Trails where Without a Trace was held this weekend. First thanks to all the riders (even though Annette Griffin beat me to it) we couldnt have a ride without your tremendous support. Thank you to my volunteers, especially annette who is Trail Mistress ExtraOrdinaire. We couldnt be running smoothly without Christa Bass, our beloved secretary. Thank you to the following friends and volunteers who gave up their weekend to help us be successful: Barbara Gould, my safety chair, who gave me a ton of competent safety riders who never got got lost; Jill Holtgraver Hughes and her lovely daughter Laura as my timers, Daniel Evangelisto as my assistant timer; Amy Kaye Martin who has become fantastic P&R chair who always makes sure the crew is having a good time; Peter Yovich photographer and driver of judges; Lesly and Steve Lynch who was a secretary and a driver; Misten Milligans husband Todd who drove us to P&Rs (when he wasnt getting stuck in the sand--poor guy) while Misten did her first NATRC ride; Maggie Beth Steinke, my daughter, who did a little bit of everything; Michaela Bass, Cody Risner, Dianna L Thurston, Alisija Zabavska Granger, Erika Forstrom, PhotoBy Jonni, and Debbie Cole who worked P&Rs; Mary Luttrell Collins rules interpreter; Katie Weir who kept us fed and helped with P&Rs; Nancy Howell, who was a judges secretary for a second year in a row; Im sure I have forgotten someone and I apologize. I think the ride was just amazing and couldnt have gone better. Special thanks to Lory Walls and Karen Kafka who came from region 2 and to Vicki and Bill Moore, Sara Baldwin, and Lisa Scott who came from Region 5 as well as all my region 4 friends.
