Finally things are sinking in and though late, I would like to share my gratitude for the 4 life altering months I experienced, which has completely transformed me and my aspirations. First of all, sincere thanks to John Anthony. Sir, i witnessed IIDC 2013 as a new bee, but look how far I have come to have got featured in your prestigious event as a competitor - performing & winning. Your initiatives have given us all dancers a reason to excel. Having come from a small town, I never expected getting a chance to see the best of the best artists performing & teaching and giving their heart out to Dance. You are the reason behind India racing up as a coveted salsa destination. Hope you stay motivated to help India realize its potential through this. Thanks a lot !! Sonali Kunmun Das.. Where the hell were you all this while ? Enough ppl spoke about your talent & greatness & there is nothing left for me to add on. Youre the best partner someone could have.. Being a friend, a mentor as well as dance partner, you had taken enough pain in the given 4 months to make me dance & compete in salsa & bachata with you, in Asias biggest latin dance festival. And playing my role in helping us win the Asian Bachata championship in IIDC 2014 is the least i could do to live up to your standards. I wish to do better in future. Just so that ppl know, Sonali did 5 choreos : semi pro salsa, bachata, solo, team choreo, and a major part of the amateur salsa routine apart from running around for costume design & music selection in given 4 months apart from her regular office work and bad health. Hats Off to you !!
