Finally watched Man Of Steel. Long Overdue. First of all, whoever cast Kevin Costner - He should thank them, because I sure do. Its his best role in over a decade. And he was perfect for it. Second. Wow. I really like this story and direction. I dont know if anyone else lambasted it or not... and I dont care. Too many people expect too many things, depending on the Superman you grew up with. With 75 years of history, youre bound to not make someone happy or not make it the way they remember it. Be true to the basics and the rest will follow. I think this story is exactly what the Superman Mythos needed. Its refreshing, relevant, and covers all the bases without covering too much. Again - Be true to the basics and the rest will follow. Need to see it again. Fullscreen, nonstop, all action, all out. This was smartly done. Cant wait to see it at Thanksgiving with the family!
