Finally went up to the allotment. Havent been up since the big storms and had lost my nerve because of what I expected to find. But I pulled some wooden drawers out of a skip and had to take them up and today is a lovely day, so hey ... Damage assessment: felting gone from roof (there has been big water ingress but its all dry now), door on front hanging from hinges, back door open. Erm, thats it. No problem, soon sorted. The black plastic covering on the beds was still there. So, now all I have to do is a)get some new roofing felt b)mend door hinge c)plant things! Mind you, the people next door used to have a shed, now they dont! Starting on it this week, watch this space.
