Finance and Contract committee meeting held at Chandigarh corporation Chandigarh, September9: The 231st meeting of Finance and Contract Committee of Municipal Corporation was held under the Chairpersonship of Subhash Chawla, Mayor and attended by other members of the committee. Lasted about three hours, the F&CC passed various agenda items of development and policy. The following agenda have been discussed and approved by the F&CC: 1. The committee members unanimously accorded approval for Rs. 2.48 per sqm per month for giving maintenance of parks/green spaces/open areas to the Residents Welfare Association for maintenance purpose. 2. The committee agreed regarding purchase of Hydraulic Platform cum Turn Table Ladder (HPTTL) in Fire wing. 3. Special Repair for Street Light Poles on V-3 Road, Sector 44/51, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs.15.06 lac. 4. The committee considered and unanimously approved the extension of pilot project in sector 22 alongwith helpers and 8 tractor trolleys for collection of door to door waste. 5. Purchase of 3 trucks Dual Cabin in Enforcement wing, MC, Chandigarh. 6. The committee approved Rs. 55 thousand per month of reserve price for eating joint at Shanti Kunj, Sector 16, Chandigarh. 7. Regarding procurement of Air conditioner for civil dispensaries working under control of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh. 8. E-Tendering for installation of Water Mist Generatic Unit on 3 Tata-207 in Fire wing. 9. Providing of furniture/fixture in primary school No.1, Manimajra at an estimated cost of Rs. 12 lacs. 10. The committee accorded approval to the agenda regarding deputation of 35 police in the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh from police department, UT.
