Saturday, August 19, 1950 "Sat. M b Day[?] Cold and clear in morning. I took the hose in and and washed up cellar floor in morning. Heavy mist. I went up to Garage to have leak in tank fixed but they were busy, so I will go up Monday. Took cans and bottles to dump. Had rubber heels put on red shoes. I went to Winslow and got gal. Turpentine, gal. mol. [molasses] gal vinegar. Paid electric light bill.
