In the late 1967 was about to spark of the worst trouble yet this is when I was born. My child hood was pretty much in the heart of this, growing up watching good friends of the family and family die. Night where the worst as more people seem to die more in the cover of darkness. If it wasn’t bad dreams keep you awake, it was the bullet whistling over head as we hid under the table, bombs shaking the house. Christmas holidays where a nightmare as the usual stepped up the bombing and killing at this time. Growing up lean the people two streets away or even on the other side of the street was the enemy, watching the curb stones and when the change colours know you had go to fair. This meant you where in the enemies’ zone as a child this could mean a good kicking but sometime you didn’t have a chose as they would come in to your street in large groups. At the age of 6 was playing on one of the boarding street watching the workmen digging a hole when the shots started bullets whistling down the street so me and another kid jumped in to the hole that the work me had dug and using the Pneumatic drill Fired back .bullets whistling over our heads. When then army turned up in a Land rover parking down a side street jumping out like a jack in box. Hitting the wall and firing back I remember this solider grabbing me. Pulling me from this hole and throwing me in to a doorway looking up at him as he had hurt me, throwing me there hearing the crack and then get wet as if it was raining watch as time had slow down, the body fall to the ground. I have many memories like this and people always asking me to paint them my one day I will put the demons on the canvas but the time is not right. I have away been good at art from a young child you could always find me pencil in hand drawing something. Have worked on paintings on the walls of Belfast in my childhood years in 1981 I came to live in London and worked on street art project set up by the GLC, myself and many others under took this project painted street art this was at Coven garden, also did many other think like this at the time for the GLC. I also in the late 1980’s to early 1990’s worked on Japanese Comics and video game art work. I come from a family of artist and designers; I have worked sold art work to a number of different clients over the years. My work over the years from surreal to fantasy as wills a portraits. I am currently exploring many things from water and energy and the power enthuse and also stimulate a new passion of paint nature .in my younger years I dabbled with caricatures and cartoon but with age has bought wisdom and an eye for more tasteful art . I consider myself still learning as most of the greats did as there is always something new to learn .I consider myself still at the learning phase of the industry and want to be in the position where other people loved and appreciated my art work as much as I love producing it . I have been interested in art since I was very young. I consider myself to be very good and can turn my hand to anything as I have worked in must mediums from Oils and pastels to computer generated art to being train as carpenter, welder, video editor & photographer with camera and a sound engineer covering any other art.
