Sir As a major sponsor of Talksport in the UK I am sure you are aware of the comments made by one of their employees, Mr Stan Collymore, about the Falkland Islands on Twitter 25/5/2014. The comments he made has caused outrage among ex-forces and current serving personnel because of the total disregard to those who gave their lives in 1982 fighting to keep the Falkland Islands British. He posted the comments on the anniversary of the sinking of HMS Coventry and the Atlantic Conveyor. May 25th is also Argentina Revolution Day so Mr Collymore knew exactly what he was doing and we as a collective are asking for him to be dismissed from Talksport. The depth of feeling can be seen on our facebook group We Ask Talksport to Sack Stan Collymore, which has risen to over 900 people since it was set up at 1515 on 26/5/2014. We ask that Nissan UK withdraw all advertising and sponsorship of Talksport until Mr Collymore is dismissed from his employment with Talksport. We have also asked the BBC to sack him due to these remarks. We realise you have a contract with Talksport regarding the advertising etc but I believe that Mr Collymore tweeting these remarks with the Talksport banner on his tweets is enough for you to tell them they have broken their side of the deal and you can withdraw your support for them.
