Today is the 2-year anniversary of Buck being found shot and stuffed inside a garbage bag. For those who have remained followers of Buck and his journey, Buck and I say thank you My life and Bucks life were totally changed on that fateful day. The event was a stepping stone for much good that would come from the the tragic event. For every negative thing that happens in life, we all have the ability to turn it around and turn it into something positive. Buck adjusted extremely well to his lack of vision and in many ways I know he now feels special and that he has a life purpose. When we visit the schools to tell his story, I feel he truly knows the importance of reaching these children with his message to try to prevent other animals (not just dogs) from being harmed with guns - particularly BB guns - in the future. By now, we have reached a couple of thousand children at schools with his message, and we will continue to go to more schools in 2015.
