Life is completely in perspective when you get home with your husband and two children in your arms to walk into a house FILLED with smoke and unable to see through it. Debilitating fear to go into a kitchen that could be on fire and then a huge relief to find how BLESSED you are that its only a blinding screen of smoke. Burnt hard boiled eggs exploded all over the kitchen after I forgot I had a pot on a slow boil while I was out of the house for 3 hours. Not sure I will stop crying or being shaken up anytime soon. Everyone is getting to bed now and we are all safe. Sorry, Chris for almost destroying everything! Praising God we have a house to sleep in tonight!
