Fingers crossed. I prematurely said in an earlier post that I’d buy Tim Reynolds from Bravo Development a drink for working with Ben and the tenants of 30 Music Square West to save the building and, most importantly, the studio. Though I still owe him thanks for selling the building to Mr. Preston, I think I’ll let him buy drinks when we meet. He certainly can afford it with this new development. Though I’m quickly becoming extremely jaded when it comes to Nashville, land development and historical preservation, Mr. Preston has a wonderful track record of saving important brick and mortar fixtures in my new hometown of Franklin. I’m hopeful this won’t be the exception. So, I offer a hesitant “thank you” to everyone who’s involved in saving RCA and an important spice of Nashville’s history. Fingers (still) crossed.
