Finished Quilt - Throw, childs blanket, table topper, lots of purple 56x70 Lots of purple here. This is a traditional design log cabin quilt. Each of the 20 log cabin blocks is built with the same logs, there is a dark purple center, with white logs built to one side and 3 different purple prints built to the other side. They are then all set to be in the same orientation which creates a geometric kind of windows or maybe a tunnel effect. The inner borders are white and then the outer border is a different flowery purple print. This is a sweet not too little quilt. It measures 56 x 70 inches which makes it a great size for the couch to cover up. It would make a cheerful spring or summer table topper and it is also large enough for a childs quilt. The backing is a pink that coordinates with some pinks in the front prints and the binding is a light purple or lavender. I quilted this piece with my long arm in an all-over meander.
