Finished another 50 mission challenge in Cliffs of Dover. This one has slipped under the radar because I did not go into this months stats rotation with the intent purpose of achieving it. It just so happened that I flew 30 or so sorties without dying and was thinking to myself... well lets go for 50! Anyways, the ATAG stats have been laggy lately, and just yesterday froze up completely for some time which made tracking the stats and sortie number sort of difficult. Today I jumped onto ATAG after a map change thinking I was at #48 when I really was already up to 49 flights. In error I then flew 2 sorties on the Portsmouth map and on the second desaster struck when I shot down a Hurricane (my 5th or 6th victim that flight) and due to damage sustained it violently pulled down and into me. We both exploded into a shower of sparks unfortunately. When I got out of the server I noticed that my stats had risen to 49. This was where I realized I had flown one sortie too many and that the eventless first sortie on the Portsmouth map had indeed been my 50th...
