First Church of Christ, Scientist, Kent, is a warm and friendly group of seekers who practice Christian healing based on the Bible and "Science and Health" by Mary Baker Eddy. The church is located at the corner of State and Meeker in downtown Kent. The Sunday church service starts at 10:30 a.m. Children up to age 20 are welcome in the Sunday school. At the Wednesday evening testimony meeting at 7:30 p.m., members and visitors share healings resulting from the study and practice of Christian Science.
