First Day hike at the Snyder-Middleswarth Natural Area! Its a new trail, but I think its a sure fire favorite now! Beautiful creek and there was so many dog on a log photo opportunities I didnt even bother. Despite the horrible recall (why he is on a leash), Beo is absolutely perfect about always staying on the trail. In fact, at one point it looks like the trees that had been marked fell down (lots of fallen trees to climb or crawl under) and he made sure to keep me on the trail as I was starting to get lost. The ascent was brutal, and my knees were screaming on the descent, but the quiet beauty was worth it. Now for a nice, very long nap! Happy New Years! (11 pictures)
