Some people get distracted by short cuts like The Lottery, luck, natural talent, etc. However, there are two forms of temptation, that of the short cut and that of the challenge. We can easily develop a predisposition/habit to either. The easy way/short cut is always going to be just that, the easiest. Its what most people will do, BUT the question is, do you want what most people have? If so, go ahead, take the easy way. Do the norm, and be happy with that life, cause you chose it. Although, if you want more... if you want what only the few have, than you must develop the habit of choosing what only few people do, The Challenge. With a short cut you are willingly giving away control, with the challenge you are willingly accepting control over your own situation. Ive seen so many people in my career stumble upon greatness and lose it just as quick. Though they caught a glimpse of what it took to be a champion, they didnt develop the HABIT of picking the challenge. Instead they develop a taste for the short cut, and lose control of their own success. SO, take control! EARN what you want in life, realize what it took to get there, and keep it. Never choose the short cut over the challenge!!! Either put in the work to get it, or dont expect to keep it!!! Have a great Fathers day everyone!!!
